In 1920 after the subdivision of the territory between bath Hévíz and Saint Andrew Hévíz the Hungarian Royal Post bought more territories. In 1923 they started to build first the Post Holiday Home in the Park Street. In 1928 in the place of todays' Hotel Aquamarin was built the second building for "postofficers". In 1929 was deep-drilled the proper fountain, which waters the pools (in and outside) of the hotel. This 117,9 m thief fountain is nowadays also in operation and generates 200 liter / min healthy water at 41-42oC, mildly radioactive, rich in sulfur.

In 1936 the hotel had already had a permanent doctor. During the second world war it was used as a Hungarian Military Hospital, from 1945 was Russian Martial Hospital for a short time, then from 1949-1950 gave place for the Greek revolutionars.

From 1953 it was one of the first Hungarian trade union's hotels, where the postmen could spend their holiday again. From 1957 became a cure-hotel. In 1953 this hotel was the first place where the weight-bath invited by dr. Károly Moll was installed.

In 1981 the hotel flared with a new building. Its 2 acre large park has many rarity plants. The older "A" building includes 44 rooms, the newer "B" building has 56 rooms. The two buildings are able to welcome alltogether 192 persons.

The hotel has three bathepools - two inside and one outside 160 m2 swimmingpool filled with thermal water. The different types of medical treatments help the healing, prevention and rehabilitation of locomotor disorders. In 2001 the local government bought the building so that he could develope in orther to make the best of hotel's capability in the interest of the town.
